Overview of our services

With our “Visa for the recognition of foreign professional qualifications” service, we support you in completing all the necessary steps for the recognition of your foreign qualification and obtaining the corresponding visa before you enter Germany.

Requirements for the visa

Proof of partial recognition:

You must prove that your qualification has been partially recognized in Germany and that you still lack theoretical and/or practical skills.

Confirmation of registration for qualification measures:

You need confirmation that you have registered for a suitable qualification measure in Germany.
We can help you to successfully register for these measures and obtain the necessary documents.

Proof of German language skills:

German language skills must be at least at level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Securing a livelihood:

You must prove that your livelihood is secured for the duration of your stay in Germany, for example by means of a blocked account or a declaration of commitment.

PS: Blocked account with at least 1,027 euros per month for the year 2024 / From January 1, 2025, the assumed annual standard requirement that must be paid into the blocked account when applying for a visa is 11,904 euros.

Prospects after successful completion of the qualification program

Residence permit to look for a job:

Once you have successfully completed the qualification measure and received full recognition of your qualification, we will support you in applying for a residence permit to look for a job (Section 20 (3) No. 4 AufenthG).
This allows you to stay in Germany for up to 12 months in order to find a qualified job.

Direct application for a residence permit:

If you have already found a place to work, study or train, we will help you to apply for a corresponding residence permit directly in Germany at the relevant immigration authority without having to leave the country first.
This can be a residence permit for skilled workers, an EU Blue Card, a residence permit to complete vocational training or to study.
